2. UT running back Travis Henry dives forward on a first quarter run.
Second Quarter
1. Senior running back Shawn Bryson scores on a 4 yard pass from Tee Martin for the game's first points.
2. Tennessee cornerback Dwayne Goodrich intercepts a Marcus Outzen pass in front of FSU's Peter Warrick. Goodrich then returned it 54 yards to give the Vols a 14-0 lead.
3. Dwayne Goodrich (#23), DeAngelo Lloyd (#99) and Raynoch Thompson (#46) celebrate Goodrich's touchdown.
4. Peter Warrick's punt return is stopped by UT punter David Leaverton (#43).
5. Dwayne Goodrich prevents Peter Warrick from catching a touchdown pass before halftime but is injured on the play.
Third Quarter
1. UT's Darwin Walker sacks Florida State quarterback Marcus Outzen.
Fourth Quarter
1. Tee Martin drops back to pass against the FSU rush.
2. Peerless Price runs in a 79 yard td bomb from Tee Martin, the longest in Fiesta Bowl history, to put the Vols ahead 20-9 with 9:17 to go.
3. The Vol defense seals the victory as Deon Grant tips a Marcus Outzen pass to teammate Steve Johnson for an interception in the final minutes.
4. Tennessee fans tell the crowd in Tempe that UT is National Champions.
Postgame
1. Peerless Price, who was named 1998 Fiesta Bowl MVP, celebrates in front of the National Championship trophy.
2. UT Coach Phillip Fulmer hoists the National Championship trophy to celebrate Tennessee's undefeated season.
